Calculate a final score
Without JavaScript, the arithmetic is the same: final score = the category scores added up, minus deductions. Percentage = final ÷ points available × 100. The example above is 76 raw, less one stunt fall (0.75) and a boundary step (0.25): 75 of 100, or 75%.
What deductions cost in BaseCount
BaseCount prices deductions from a fixed table modelled on the shape of the general deduction sheets. The exact figures change by season and scoring system, so use your event’s current sheet for a real result.
- Stunt fall: 0.75
- Pyramid fall: 1.00
- Basket toss fall: 1.25
- Fall in tumbling, jumps or dance, per athlete: 0.25
- Boundary step: 0.25
- Over the time limit: 0.25
