An AI cheer scoring app that shows its working

Film a routine on your phone. In about a minute you get a score against the sheet you compete on, every deduction named and stamped with the second it happened, and a coach you can ask about any of it.

What happens to a routine

  1. You upload, and confirm consent

Pick a video or paste a public link. Before anything is sent, you confirm the people in it, or their parents, agreed. Faces are not blurred, so it asks every time.

  2. Stills are scored against your sheet

Up to 50 low-resolution stills are taken end to end, so a fall in the last eight-count counts. Each category is scored against the sheet you picked.

  3. Deductions come from a fixed table

The model names what it saw; the points come from a table, not from the model. A fall costs the same every time, and the total adds up from its parts.

  4. You ask the coach

Ask why a category scored low or what to drill on Tuesday. The coach has the routine’s own timestamped notes.

What it is not

It is not a judge. It is a second set of eyes with perfect recall, and coaches stay in charge of the call. Stills cannot see everything a panel sees, so it says how many categories it could actually score. Enter the judged score after a competition and it tracks the gap between its estimate and the panel’s, in writing.
